This is a fabulous 1950s cocktail dress bearing the highly collectable label "Suzy Perette, New York". 

The style is like a shift with the skirt ballooned out from the waist, over the hips to just above the knee. 

The fabric is a very soft ribbed fabric, similar to faille, in very rich blues, purple and lilac colours in an abstract floral design.  The dress is full lined.

The dress is in Excellent condition with no faults or flaws.
