The dress bears the label "An Extract Dress, New York, N Y " and is unlined.  The fabric is a liquid rayon fabric, with lots of slinky movement and shine.

The dress has a 9½" metal TALON zipper at centre back waist.  There are thread loops at each side of waist for a belt, which is missing.  The bodice has a deep V-neck highlighted with a 1½" diameter diamante and mock-pearl button stamped Cechoslov.  There are shoulder pads.

The skirt is fullness due to gathers at either side of the front and back waist .  There is a 2" hem on the skirt, sewn and secured with ribbon tape.  The sleeves taper and narrow to a pointed hem line at the cuff area - at the inside of each wrist there is a 5" long area of smocking/gathering to give fullness and shape (see image).

Overall, the dress is in Very Good to Excellent condition - it is a quite smart dress perfect for any semi-formal occasion.
