This hat is just so typical of the early 1950s. It is basically a circular wire frame covered with velvet. The frame at the front and sides has strips of blond mink fur in V-shapes.

The back of the hat is a large bronze/pink satin bow.

The whole hat is covered in a light netting, over the crown and extending down to eye level.
