This fabulous timeless black cocktail dress deserves to have a high-end designer label attached - but there is none!  The dress is clearly professionally made and personifies the classic 'little black dress' (lbd) which is a MUST in any fashionista's wardrobe!

The dress is unlined and is in a light-weight fluid fabric similar to a smooth crepe.  The bodice top and the rear tails are in black velvet.  The dress is Princess-line (no waist seam) and there is a 5" kick pleat at centre back hem to facilitate movement.

The dress fastens at centre back with a 14" metal zipper, below a deep V-shaped rear neckline.  The bodice top is in velvet, and at the front creates an attractive details above the bustline. The velvet continues over the shoulders and cap sleeves, running down the back bodice before extending into 2 loose 'tails' at centre back waist.  The 'tails' are 27" long and at the hem are 12" wide.

I cannot do justice to the classic simplicity of this dress, it has a timeless quality which would easily carry it through an formal event today!  The dress is in Excellent condition and is highly recommended.
