This gorgeous lace dress bears the label "Bernshaw, Made in England" - a company known for basing its designs on the Oscar ceremony dresses!  This dress is in a burgundy or claret colour, very rich. The over dress is entirely lace, with only the front of the bodice lined, and the skirt fully lined.

The bodice is wrap-over style fastening at centre front with 3 metal poppers and a hook/eye. The waist fastens with one popper and a hook/eye. The edging of the lace bodice is a narrow ribbon strip, and the waistband is a ¾" wide ribbon which forms into a bow at centre front waist. The lining at the front of bodice is attractively shaped, whilst the unlined bodice back adds an extra sexy quality to this dress!

The fully lined skirt is gathered onto the waist line, and there is a 6" zipper at centre front of the lining, with a corresponding slit opening in the lace overdress. The skirt lining has a 13" vertical slit at centre back hem, for ease of movement.  The long unlined lace sleeves fasten at the cuff edge with a metal popper at the end of a 2" slit.
