This stunningly beautiful dress carries the label "CLAUDIA YOUNG".  The dress is in a light-weight wool fabric in light grey.

The dress is unlined but for a panel of lining across the seat area.  There is an 11" metal zipper at the left waist.  The skirt is pleated at each front hip, and there are slit pockets at each side.  There is a 9" kick pleat at centre back hem.

The highlight of the dress is the shaped sweetheart neckline which is trimmed at the front with a band of bronze beads, silver sequins and coral-coloured beads from which hang loose 20 dangling strands of beading ending with a larger coral-coloured bead, which move around with every movement!  The silver sequins are scattered across the front bodice and across the top of the front skirt.

There is a matching stole or wrap 13" x 71" which is lined in a matching coral-coloured fabric, possibly silk.

Other than one missing dangling bead, the dress is in Excellent condition and has no other faults or flaws.

Elegant in its simplicity,  the dress is ideal for any semi-formal occasion - where you might want to make the Mad Men even madder!
