This stylish dress carries the label "Frank Usher" and a size tag for UK 16, USA 12.  The dress is lined in the body but not the sleeves.  The dress is in black velvet fabric, with black satin bows.

The dress fastens at centre back with a 19" zipper, and there are 6 pieces of boning in the bodice.  The dress is Princess-line (no waist seam) and has an attractive V-shaped neckline.  The dress is quite fitted and then flares out from the knees giving a lot of movement in the skirt.

The long sleeves are elasticated at the top and can be worn on or off the shoulder.  The highlight of the dress are the large satin bows at the front and back of each shoulder - these are double-bows which are 10" long and 5" wide.  They could in fact be removed in order to simplify the overall effect of the dress.

In Excellent condition, the dress is more than suitable for any formal occasion.
