This stunningly simple cocktail dress carries the label "Mr Blackwell Design".  The dress is fully lined, and the fabric is black shot silk which has a delicious taffeta-like rustle.

The dress fastens at centre back with a 10" metal zipper, which has a tiny bow at the top for decoration.  The bodice has boning at the sides and back.  The front neckline is rounded, whilst the back is a low V-shape.

The dress is Princess-line (no waist seam) and is figure-hugging.  There is a small kick pleat at centre back hem to facilitate movement.  The highlight of the dress has to be the spaghetti straps - there are 2 straps.  One straps is in the black fabric, the other is a narrow row of diamante stones.

This is a timeless classic cocktail dress of good quality, and is in Excellent condition.
